Was there a press conference or what? I didn’t see it.
I don’t see any media reports other than a short blurb in the UT and virtually verbatim article in the NC times that suggests there was a press conference after the meeting last night. Why wasn’t there a press conference.
Also do you have a link to the article you posted above about the meeting violations?
Michael Crimmins’ statement is not in an article, it’s directly from him.
As far as a press conference goes, I agree with Crimmins’ statement on:

Michael Crimmins says:
February 8, 2010 at 11:55 pm
“My view is this purported press conference from the very outset, when I and others first received it last Thursday on February 4th, looked very much like a hoax or part of a planned misinformation program. Why? There was no specific Point of Contact info whatsoever to be found in it. Plus the meeting was over at 8PM not 8:30PM as indicated in it along with the fact the business meeting was scheduled to end at 7PM. And having seen many press releases, this one didnt even look like one. Checking with the Town & Country, they didnt even have a location scheduled for it either. You would think the press would check these things out prior to showing up. You would think.”
I believe the press conference was a setup to ruin the credibility of Crimmins and anyone who disagrees with the process, Nehring, and Krvaric. The blogging about the press conference suggests that if no one shows up, all credibility of their critics is lost. The following is another quote from their blog to further illustrate my point:
“Rostra Administrator (Thor’s Assistant) says:

In a word, anticlimactic. No press conference, no evidence, no explanation. Media were there, but no one showed up for the anonymously promised press conference. Nothing. Cowards.”
Like I said in a previous post:
“Read this article and the comments afterward. What a set-up!

Looks like the work of the... MASTER BAITERS themselves!”
Who are you going to believe? A combat war veteran marine (Crimmins) or the co-founder, Strider a.k.a. Tony Krvaric, of an international piracy ring called Fairlight?
