CBS News ^ | 2/9/2010 | Mark Knoller

Posted on 02/09/2010 6:35:11 PM PST by Outside da Box

Mr. Obama said he "won't hesitate to embrace a good idea from my friends in the minority party." But he wants his way. He wants his energy policy enacted along with his jobs bill, his financial regulatory reform and his health care plan.

And if the opposition continues to block his objectives, he said he "won't hesitate to condemn what I consider to be obstinacy that's rooted not in substantive disagreement but in political expedience."

It’s getting obvious when CBS writes a title like that.

What these presidential appeals for bipartisanship always mean is: do it my way.

Well done Mr. Knoller,

Hope your resume is up to date.

I thought he had already done that a couple of times before he started trying to buy Republicans off.

Republicans should tell him to fugg off.

Obama thinks he holds all the cards. I concede that he’s tin eared, but he also has the worst advisers in the known world. Its not just ideology, theres a certain obstinate stupidity there.

My take on this is that Obama could actually take the MSM down with him, and this fact is beginning to dawn on them.

Obama is not like Clinton, he is incapable of moving to the center. He is even worse than Carter in this regard. He is a Man of the Left, and knows nothing else.

He just gets angry and frustrated, and instead of appearing all hopeychangey and inspiring, he just seems mean and angry in his pubic appearances.

The MSM is already widely perceived by the American people as being in the tank for Obama.

If Obama loses his personal popularity (his policies are already unpopular), then there is nothing left - he will be an abject failure.

I think some in the MSM are beginning to foresee the possibility of such a loss of personal popularity.

Why do they need to meet at the Blair House? Are the Republicans not good enough for a meeting at the White House? If he says there is not enough room then he should go to the hill. What a guy!
