Well considering Google was all ready to shut down every Google office in China, I don’t think Iran is a big loss.

It does feel like we are rushing toward some kind of conclusion, doesn’t it?

98% of internet traffic in Iran goes through two data centers controleed by the government.

As far as i know, Xbox360 gaming chat network (and Xbox360’s with linux installed which uses the same ports) are the last remaining internet protocols not being firewalled inside Iran.

All signs point to the announcement of political pogrom masquerading as a religious edict in the next few hours. Fear for the safety of the brave Iranians posting internet commentary/videos who didn’t hide their IPs in the prior year.

Iranian threat of a stunning punch causes concern in D.C.
KMOX ^| 10 February 2010 2:02PM

WASHINGTON (KMOX Radio) — A warning earlier this week from Iran’s supreme ruler that his country will deliver a “punch” February 11th that will “stun” the West is being taken seriously at the highest levels of the U-S government, according to Missouri’s two Senators.

Democratic Missouri Senator Claire McCaskill described the concern about Iran today in Washington as a matter of “almost hyper focus.”
“I know the military is monitoring it carefully. I know the intelligence community is monitoring it carefully. I can’t share many of the details of that. But I will say that I think our government is very, very, very concerned.”
Earlier this week, Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said in a speech that: “The Iranian nation, with its unity and God’s grace, will punch the arrogance (Western Powers) on the 22nd of Bahman (February 11) in a way that will leave them stunned.”

I was skeptical of the big “punch” being nothing more than a crackdown on the protesters . . . now - I’m really not so sure. Folks, you don’t see stuff like this coming from Washington everyday

I’m wondering about a nuke test. Which would be stupid on their part, because Israel would level them, but what if they have a nuke weapon? Still crazy, but they might do it in the name of religious zealotry. A full blown middle eastern war would cripple us from an oil/gas standpoint.

I wonder with all the stuff we have accomplished in Iraq, if they are planning a big attack on them. This would certainly affect us would’nt it...or do I need a tin foil hat! Just sayin’..
