Yes, the photos are exceptional. They tug at my heart.

Even though I live 2,000 miles from NYC the attack personally hurt me and my husband.

1) The phone in our clinic stopped ringing for a week, except to cancel appointments. For almost a month we saw very few patients.

2) Since our clinic was in center city, many of our patients worked for the hotels, airlines, and car rental companies. Many, many, many of our patients were laid off from their jobs.

3) When patients did start coming back they reported that they lost good friends and co=workers in the 9/11 attacks. Some stated that their business instantly disappeared and they were out of work. It was emotionally very draining to listen to these sad stories.

4) In all it was a solid 9 months to a year before our clinic was back to its pre-9/11 income stream.

Still seems just a short time ago. Hard to believe it’s almost been 9 years.

Life is going by fast!
