Cameron talking about Elsworth (?) who may be able to hold that seat should he run, although the prospects of any dem holding the seat may be slim. Bayh has been warning the dems for months to become more centrist but they’ve paid about as much attention to him as they have to voters.

Scott Brown's victory in Massachusetts was a game-changer. If a Democrat is not safe here ("Kennedy's seat" no less), no Democrat is safe anywhere this November.

This explains all the "retirements" lately. With this approaching GOP tsunami, there's a lot of Democrats out there that want to get to higher land now. No politician wants to end their career by losing an election.

So are they jumping ship because they’re in trouble or are they jumping ship because they expect the emperor to do something really crazy?

Oh, I'm pretty sure it's the latter.

I think Evan Bayh, one of the few Democrats known for occasional sanity, could retain his seat in Indiana, he's not afraid of losing that seat, he's afraid of retaining it.

Evan Bayh sees that the Obama cabal is bound and determined to take this country where even some Democrats don't want to go.

I think we may have a decent chance of a Pickup in Name Only here in Illinois. The dem candidate has some nasty mob ties that are coming out. And he is a banker, so all of Obama's rhetoric about bad bankers getting big bonuses doesn't help this guy a whole lot. And the dem governor candidate is very weak.

The bad news is that Kirk is a Turbo RNIO.

Things are pretty bad for the Dems when they quit buying their own BS.

Indiana voters went for Obama thinking that it was the Republicans responsible for the 7% unemployment rate in the East Chicago to Goshen to Fort Wayne corridor.

Then they got Obama and the unemployment rate in many counties in that area went up to 15%.

For a variety of reasons the blockheads in the North have this idea that when Obama says he'll bankrupt the coal users that meant someone else.

I get the idea here that Bayh finally figured it out and realized he probably couldn't have any more outdoor political rallys ~ anywhere.

Just read the article on Fox’s site. The part of the article that talks about Bayah being up big on Coates all comes from Democratic sources. Sounds to me like Democrats trying to do damage control. I know the last polls that Rasmussen had showed Bayah in big trouble against unnamed Republican challenger. Wonder if Mike Pence is kicking himself right now.

The sad thing might be these retiring rats could be now willing to fall on swords with extremely UNPOPULAR votes.

From the Monty Python movie..."Jehovah Jehovah Jehovah, how much worse can it get?"

I left IN 20+ years ago but I still follow the politics a little...I was dismayed but not totally surprised when Bayh was elected.
