This is part of a systematic Democrat effort to run "blue dog" candidates who'll lie about how fiscally conservative they are, thus making them harder to defeat

Not this year, its not believable any more. .Bayh doesent have any skeletons as far as I know, so it looks like he's doing what Patches did in RI, bailing to avoid humiliation and hoping he can come back in better circumstances.

Does the Hoosier jackass party have anyone strong in the bullpen or is this a near certain GOP pick-up? I'll bet Bammy promised him some type of appointment in return for helping him ramrod Obamacare or something equally odious through now that he doesn't have to run for reelection.

Every poll I saw gave him at least a 50-50 chance of holding this seat, so I'm almost certain he didn't just bail without getting something in return.
