The world's scientists crowded into the “AGW Theatre”. Now, some of them smell smoke. The smart ones will be heading for the exits, before the stampede and trampling begins.

New research casts doubt on such claims,

This "new research" is by hackers, FOIA filers and Freepers.

Obama makes U.N. debut on global warming
September 22, 2009

From the transcript (final paragraph):

President Obama: "But the journey is long and the journey is hard. And we don't have much time left to make that journey. It's a journey that will require each of us to persevere through setbacks, and fight for every inch of progress, even when it comes in fits and starts. So let us begin. For if we are flexible and pragmatic, if we can resolve to work tirelessly in common effort, then we will achieve our common purpose: a world that is safer, cleaner, and healthier than the one we found; and a future that is worthy of our children."

VENEZUELA: Chavez calls for global offensive for socialism
August 31, 2005

excerpts...

"The environment is suffering damage that could be irreversible — global warming, the greenhouse effect, the melting of the polar ice caps, the rising sea level, hurricanes — with terrible social occurrences that will shake life on this planet."

"I believe this idea has a strong connection with reality. I don't think we have much time. Fidel Castro said in one of his speeches I read not so long ago, 'tomorrow could be too late, let's do now what we need to do'."

"I believe it is time that we take up with courage and clarity a political, social, collective and ideological offensive across the world — a real offensive that permits us to move progressively, over the next years, the next decades, leaving behind the perverse, destructive, destroyer, capitalist model and go forward in constructing the socialist model to avoid barbarism and beyond that the annihilation of life on this planet."

--Hugo Chavez, at the 16th World Festival of Youth and Students, held in Caracas on August 8-15, 2005

Obama climate czar has socialist ties
Group sees 'global governance' as solution

by Stephen Dinan

Until last week, Carol M. Browner, President-elect Barack Obama's pick as global warming czar, was listed as one of 14 leaders of a socialist group's Commission for a Sustainable World Society, which calls for "global governance" and says rich countries must shrink their economies to address climate change.

By Thursday, Mrs. Browner's name and biography had been removed from Socialist International's Web page, though a photo of her speaking June 30 to the group's congress in Greece was still available.

lots more...

“Some even suggest the world may not be warming much at all.”

Yeah, some are even named Phil Jones, the former head of the Climatic Research Unit at the University of East Anglia, the outfit that gave credence to the scam.

Does this mean Lindsey will have to jump down out of John Kerry’s lap because Cap&Trade will be dumped?

Poor Lindsey. He was really banking on being the new Senate maverick.

Scientists who do real science need to get a lot more furious than they are with the brigands who have ruined the reputation of 'science' and 'scientists' among a large and growing segment of the public.

An entire generation of schoolchildren who have been fed this garbage since they were in kindergarten are suddenly learning that they've been had; that what "scientists" say can be, and may well be, bunk. It's a good thing they are learning that, and knowing it will serve them well as they get older. But if I worked in science, I'd be royally peeved at the people who caused this charade. However pure their motives might have been, they really screwed the pooch.

If there are not faculty expulsions and professors being tossed out of windows by their colleagues, there is something seriously wrong. Only numerous public hangings by scientists policing their own can repair the damage that's been done to all of their reputations.

Do I expect to see that? No. For the same reason that news reporters continue to peddle liberal politics dressed up as "news" even as the newspapers and news divisions lay people off and slowly fade from our lives. I'll bet most professors put their own liberal politics ahead of their craft in the same way.

All this leads me to believe that there is very little “real science” being done.

Find who funds the study, or the researchers agenda, and you’ll know the result before it’s produced.

Welcome to the Dark Ages, part II.

This ongoing circle jerk has to cease sooner or later.

Can we agree on something?
Segregate articles and propaganda disguised as news into pro-AGW and anti AGW.

Further, within each group, segregate the articles that actually lists the names of the "scientists." If the names are not there, junk the article; into the waste basket it goes.

From the remainder, make up two lists :

One list for the AGW proponent scientists.
Another for the refute-or-challenge-AGW scientists.

The actual/i> names of the scientists, and the schools or group with which they are associated (not mountain climbers; not graduate students; not runners; not tattoo artists)

Then let the informed and educated citizen ( and, one would hope, politicians ) decide which is more believeable.

I am so tired of and disgusted with the some-say, some-unnamed-scientists say, some-believe school of news reporting.

Well, at least one news company in the major media is willing to report on the collapse of the global warming fraud.

The fact that the rest of the US media, our gov’t, and academia are still dancing around the edges of this issue only underlines their criminal complicity in the scam.

They’re also fools if they think that people haven’t noticed. Their silence on Climategage is deafening, and damning.
