The worse that could happen is to push McCain to the right. The only problem is that John seems to be tethered to the left by a rubber band, so that after he is elected he inevitably moves back in that direction.
We need to understand that the Republican political insider lives to talk conservative in an election season and act liberal once they get elected.
The game is over now that more of us realize that guys like McCain have been using us for all these years.
