With the internet fraud these days, be sure the cans are not empty.
Why not just stop up on sales of canned goods at local markets?
If you get stuff shipped to you there will be records of where this stuff went? I’ll be there for some!

Even MRE's only have a shelf life of 3 to 5 years. #10 cans have a shelf life of 25 to 30 years. I want to put these away and for get about them.
As far as a record trail, that does not concern me as much, especially as I will be hiding them.
