“D’Ippolito’s candidacy would have thrown a serious wrench in Dem hopes of keeping the seat. She would have prevented the state party from filling the vacancy with a candidate of their own, likely an experienced contender...
...GOPers, sensing an opportunity, mobilized in some places to help d’Ippolito make the ballot.”

Wow.... I may not like this lady but this guy is just wow. He would have been eaten alive by the journalist in my college. He would fit in right at home in Washington. You know you could make the best attack ad on this alone with the atmosphere there is right now.

Didn't someone post on FR the other day about Bayh's eligibility being suspect, because he'd listed his *home* address as some tax office building, a standalone in a parking lot somewhere? I remember doing a google search and seeing the picture of the office, and now, just a few days later, he's outtathere!
I wonder if there's some sort of connection, that Bayh got going while the going was good BEFORE something was exposed??

1. ALL state/county offices were closed yesterday.
2. Some closed at noon on Friday.
3. Marion County's clerk office is not the only place where signatures can be turned in for that district.

Yeah I thought it was fishy too, like it was being set up so why I mentioned it, but it was today and this guy who gave it in (at 9:10 it’s posted on something that only been up five hours) seems to be the real deal (Professor, dug him up on ratemyprofessor due to fluency in Hebrew, not the same name but close and teaches in an Indiana Univeristy outlier in Bloomington)
