Awoke this moring at 7:30 to a ad was running on 104.9 The River here in Memphis, asking the public to FIGHT this Radio Performance Tax...seems most of the money would go to foreign owners. More of Bambi's wealth spereading.

It’s not just money, running local independent stations out of business would also limit the venues for talk radio shows. The only alternative to the big corporate communications machine that is controlled by the left.
The govt doesnt collect it or administer it, that will be done by existing public performance entities like Sound Exchange. You obviously havent been ripped off by big corporate broadcasters for years, dont understand the problem or are misinformed. Ill cordially leave you out of the discussion.
