I agree - whoever wrote his speech did a pretty good job. I suppose he had to ask folks to leave the wife/kids alone, but they are suffering the consequences of his behavior combined with their relationship with a very public figure, so I would have said less on that. Otherwise, pretty stand up. “I thought I could get away with it” was EXACTLY what the problem was, and he owned up.
