Just another of the many problems CPAC has, question becomes are they worth saving?
see if this is an answer
Michael Steele can kiss my lilly white butt
Where, Rod?
With the two top winners being paul and mitt, I would say no.
Govs. Arnold Schwarzenegger, R-Calif., and Ed Rendell, D-Pa.
Right or wrong, my initial reaction to this pairing is "Heh. Two peas from the same pod."
Paul got 30%. That means 70% voted against him. So that straw poll can be looked at a lot of different ways. Paul will always have his fanatic adherents, but never enough to win anything real.
Pensacola all week.
I agree with you about polls. To me, politics has become too driven by them. With over 50% going to paul and mitt, I seriously question who was there and why.
I'm not that up on the inner workings of CPAC but when you have Rush, Newt, Ann, Glen Beck and many others all showing up over the past two years they must be a force to be reckoned with?
I hate tomatoes so no loss......Steele is the wrong republican to lead....period
DADT - His WIFEY & his D.C. Social Club told him he needs to “change” his position again !!
General Norman Schwarzkopf made Powell !!
It is obvious now, Powell never had any convictions that his wife couldn’t “CHANGE” !!
Except for Cheney (who picked himself) G W Bush picked some of the worse cowards for his administration !!
makes sense.
Current Dems don’t want to be seen defending Obamacare?
It would be great if Paul and the regular Pubbies could come to agree enough on future foreign policy direction to bring the Paulites into activist Republican fold.
There is no question about that but we have taught(and are teaching) the RNC/GOP a huge lesson. They no longer get much in the way of donations from us. We donate directly to the individual candidates. That alone really diminishes their impact. Take their money away and all of a sudden they will come around.
Too much attention on 2012 and CPAC, 2010 is what matters, we will know better after Nov. elections.
