What Howie was saying is that they have fallen down on their job of brainwashing the public.

This explains the local morning radio show today, in which the ABC reporter was interviewed by a local host and went into great detail about how these “independent” economists ABC goes to when they need an “impartial” opinion ALL agree that the stimulus worked.

They weren’t taking calls, so I couldn’t unload like I wanted to. ABC has a group of economists that AGREE with them. It’s not like they ever consult with Friedman types.

It was an obvious attempt to convince us rubes out here in flyover country that we shouldn’t pay attention to all of our neighbors who are out of work; the recession is over because they say so.

Pffft.

Sure, and they will get louder as Obama’s poll numbers sink lower.
