I really don't know how people like Al Gore sleep at night.

The same way that most leftwingers sleep at night - because no matter how severely they are proven wrong, no matter what the consequences to real people of their wrong-headed policies, they never admit to anyone, especially not themselves, that they were wrong. Ever. Even now, as one global warming organization after another is proven to be a fraud, left-wingers are still saying "Well, that doesn't mean that global warming isn't happening". Ol' Al is sitting in his angry chair, telling himself that his house of cards is toppling only because of a vast right-wing conspiracy.

About two years ago Gore and his partner talked the investment board of the Church of England into handing over $250 million to their Generation Investment Management fund. They have talked many other investors out of additional billions. Gore and Blood bought up EU carbon credits in a depressed market. If Congress enacted Cap-and-Trade an official U.S. carbon market would be established and merged with the EU trading scheme. U.S. industry would become a captive market for Gore's carbon coupons which would have inflated with the passage of the energy bill.

I find it interesting that most Nobel Committees in hard science award their prizes most often decades after an actual research finding is published (or patent filed, etc.). Only then can evaluators even begign to see if the finding is really that earth shaking in its impact in the field. The same, of course, holds true for sports hall of fames where there is usually a waiting period (5 years of more) after retirement before a person is even eligible for nomination. That allows time to see if the voters still feel the career effort is among the very best in that sport.

But...But...when it comes to the Nobel Peace Committee, they are more than happy to make politically driven awards before a single game is even played in a career that is often fradulent and embarrassing.

Gore...Obama....are Bernie Madoff kind of hopey-chaney recipients of Nobels.

Al Gore was never any great shakes as a politician, He got his job as Senator because his father had it and he used his father’s connections.

So he got beat, he had the prestige of being a Vice president of this country, of being an ex-Senator, he had plenty of money and a great pension from having served in the Senate. He could have gone aay an lived a good life and had some respect.

But Noooo: That didnt suit Al. He wanted to be a wheel. He wanted to show the voters who didnt want him for President what a brilliant man they had lost.

Here's the Readers Digest of it...Inhofe figures it was ALL hatched by the UN. Since the biggest funder of the UN is the United States, being able to live off the avails of the climate scam would have let the UN call their own shots on their activities without being beholden or needing to worry about the opinion of the States on anything. He didn't say this but in my view, if the UN hatched the plan and then brought the Goracle in as a partner... and we know that the UN is principally made up of country states that are at complete cross purposes to the US, that means that the Goracle is not only a scam artist, he’s a traitor, no?
