I was just reading a link about this. Really, really scary. This stuff was left out in the open. How much more is out there.

Reads more like a simple industrial accident.

Similar incident a few years back with a large number of casualties due, IIRC, to someone stealing a source to scrap out the lead shielding.

Goiânia Brazil, the pretty glowing pellets got scattered widely in the neighborhood by children playing with them, guys presenting them to girlfriends, etc...
