Bad news, folks. a Linkedin search shows results that he worked for Meersman Associates in DC as a writer/editor. I’m confused since it shows volunteer work for politicians- all republicans, but some were way before he was born. I think the company got to the profile before his name was released.

There's ALWAYS a delay, and there always has been a delay. I don't know what universe people are living in where in situations like this the perp's name, appearance, and complete life history has ever reported by the authorities within five seconds of the event as people here seem to expect.
Events like this are always confusing, eyewitnesses incredibly unreliable, and non-existent additional suspects are initially reported or suspected in many incidents.
