The catastrophic health care plan of 1988 or so was repealed the next year. So, there is a precedent.
The GOP didn’t do that one, though.
I’m over-simplifying, but in large measure, a bunch of senior citizens pounding on Rostenkowski’s car was what made that repeal happen.
That took what I call the “full Rostenkowski” to undo.
The people need to put the fear of God into their worthless representatives the way they did Rosty and then something might be done the way we want it for a change.
