Retiring Rep. Bart Gordon (D-Tenn.) voted against the House bill but said in a statement March 4 . . .

that the president’s proposal is “moving in a more fiscally responsible direction.”

I am still trying to figure out how anyone can intellectually say something of this nature. They have to and are being asked to vote up or down on the "Senate" version.

No where in that version is the president's proposals PLUS . . .

They have to vote for the premiums on the "cadillac insurance"

Stearn and his minions get to pay extra !!

It will never be fixed because the American people will not accept any ammendment of that nature in future bills

“Fiscally responsible” by gutting Medicare!! The Democratic physicians know this will save money when those pesky senior citizens start dropping like flies. And the Comparative Effectiveness Committee chairman, Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel will make sure that care is denied. Saves tons of money.Fixes Social Security as well. No more 30 years of retirement.
