You seem to like to accuse people of things and get really quiet when you’re asked to back it up. What is it that I think Beck is? How am I playing games? How am I hedging my bets? What the hell am I even betting on?

That is fine.
But when anything he says or does is
questioned, you take a confrontational attitude
and your “admissions” are not direct and

I am a fan of Glenn Beck. That doesn’t mean I think he’s always right. There is nobody that I agree with 100% of the time.

I don’t take a ‘confrontational attitude’. What I do is use logic and reason against arguments that lack both. That’s why you’re afraid to discuss the substance with me, because you know I’ll rip your argument to shreds if you’re wrong and I’m intellectually honest enough to admit if you’re right. There’s nothing more direct than that and THAT is what you seem to be afraid of. I wonder why.

Actually, I disagree with your characterization of
the way you engage.
When the VAT and Beck were discussed, you called someone
a liar. When the evidence was produced ( logic, order)
you never acknowledged that you were wrong.
You could have said something like, “ huh, I guess he did
say that. But the way he talked about it was something that
reasonable people might consider”. But you did not. You just
blabbed about how if one had actually watched the video they
would have seen such and such.
You have a mighty high regard for your forensic abilities
(to wit: ‘.. I'll rip your argument to shreds..’ )
From what I have seen, your self-esteem is a bit exaggerated.
Perhaps you would find your skills more challenged over
on the MENSA boards.

Actually, if memory serves, I believe that I did admit that I was wrong on something else in that thread. I wasn’t wrong on the VAT. What Beck said was perfectly reasonable and ANY reasonable person would think so. Only someone with an agenda would attempt to cherrypick that one conversation and use it to try and insinuate that Beck is advocating for a VAT. Using that one conversation to say that Beck ‘wants’ or is ‘advocating for’ or is ‘pushing for’ a VAT tax is disingenuous to say the least, if not outright deception.

I believe I called the person a liar because they actually DID lie about something and I remember being correct in my assessment.

MENSA? The incessant ‘clever’ puns get pretty boring after about 5 minutes. :p

Actually, you do not need to use your memory ( which appears to be entirely self-serving) as you can review the posts. Were you interested in seeking the truth, you might have done that and perhaps you might have
seen what I am referring to. But you did not ( ? ) and so I will no longer continue to reply to your posts as it is

Yeah, I could have spent the time to go back to whenever that was and read over it, but I really don’t care enough about it to bother. If I felt that any of you anti-Beck Jihadists had any valid points about what I said, I would have admitted it at the time, so there’s really no need to go back to it now.

All I wanted to know is what it is that I supposedly think Glenn Beck is and all I get is a bunch of nonsense about how I should be nicer to the disingenuous little punks who come here to troll and spread obvious misinformation. I can definitely agree with you that doing that is a huge waste of time.
