OJ and Penn, like the rest of us, will face judgment someday. I happen to believe that Murtha and Teddy, to name 2 politicians, already have.

Please explain how any American calling him one would be libel or slander and why they should be held to account for calling a foreigner some names?

Maybe Sean Penn is a great actor but the thing to remember is that a great actor is a great faker, one who convincingly lies to make you think that the person s/he is depicting is real. This has no correlation with innate intelligence or perspective. This is amply demonstrated by Mr Penn whom I would not trust with a power tool, let alone our political structure!
he he! That is the picture I have been waiting for. Penn’s rescue mission in New Orleans going to rescue some of the poor people that Bush ignored and left behind. He had his own camera crew to record his good deeds too, such a shame about his leaky boat. Lucky he had that red plastic cup to bail it out. Wonder if it was one of his own crew that took that picture.

I’m not saying Penn’s opinion is based on reality, just that he’s talking about what he perceives as lies. The press can be held responsible for printing lies through libel and slander laws. Freedom of speech is not unlimited.
