If they try this then the Senate would have to go first on the “fix” bill, which they would have to do through reconciliation since Scott Brown would be vote #41. This would open the floodgates to GOP parliamentary challenges on what was germain to the budget and unlimited numbers of amendments. The Republicans could likely tie things up with the four-corners offense for the remainder of the year if they go this route. It would have the added benefit that the Senate would not be able to take up any other business.

It would also heavily bring out the rat base in November because there would be 24/7 coverage of the pubs “OBSTRUCTING.” Red meat.
