No doubt for use in gun-free school zones.

Must be they need them to train on school board members who refuse to submit to union contract demands.

existing shotgun inventory, certified armor and combat training and protocol.
So!! the department of education has a combat element? Why?
Did the FBI pick up rumors of a dangerous insurgency by third graders?
I think I will call my congress man in the morning.

I’d like to think that they’re going to build trap ranges, but...you know. This is really weird. The Dept. of Education was created by Jimmy Carter as a campaign promise to the teachers union for supporting his presidential campaign. In doing so, Carter in effect gave the hyper-left NEA a cabinet post, and total control over public education in our country. We’re reaping that harvest now.

If one were to look past the obvious silliness of the headline I would assume that the weapons are for building security in D.C. Of course Duncan could be planning a trip back to Chicago. That alone would justify the purchase.

Same thing the IRS is buying!
Dept. of Education
Soon to be the Dept. of Re-Education.

I go on FedBizzOps almost daily - I hope Drudge does not get in trouble for linking there - you have to sign and agreement on the info you see there is limited to business.

Homeschoolers.
They better beware, though.
Most homeschoolers (and their children) have better and longer range guns, and know how to use them.
