Democrats May Use Slaughter Rule to Pass Pro-Abortion Health Care Without Vote

Washington, DC -- As Democratic leaders in Congress plot their next move on how to get the pro-abortion Senate health care bill through the House, a new strategy has developed apart from the reconciliation plan that has pro-life advocates concerned they could pass the bill without taking a vote on it.

“...a maneuver to deem the Senate bill already passed by the House by rule, despite the fact that it clearly has not...”

I don’t get it - how can this work?

Then it shall not be law, and neither the people nor the states have to pay any attention to it.

We have a republican government, not a despotism.

The Slaughter Rule could possibly work because the liberals that control the House and Senate live in an alternate universe where realities don't exist, and common sense is replaced by no sense, where Yes means No and Lies are Truths.

For those who can't follow.. here's a picture!

Hmmm... I remember the slaughter rule when i was a kid. If one team was losing like 11-0 in the fifth inning, under the slaughter rule the rest of the game was called off.

So maybe using my version of the slaughter rule we can deem the Obamacare bill already dead since it’s so far behind in the polls and thus end all efforts to pass Obamacare.

If the dems actual do their version of the Slaughter rule, the political ads will write themselves “Dems Slaughter Democracy”, “Dems Slaughter the unborn...”, etc. How does this shield any democrats from criticism-I think it makes them look worse?? What a bunch of ignoramuses the Dems are.

PLEASE CALL! DC OFFICE LOCAL OFFICE State District

Code Red” - House Target List on Health Care

The National Republican Congressional Committee has published a target list on health care. In addition to continuing to contact the five Tennessee Democrat Congressmen, you can go http://www.votervoice.net/link/clickthrough/ext/94697.aspx to contact some of these targets. Much of the talk following Obama’s announcement has focused on how to defeat this second bill through reconciliation, but that is misleading because the first step to defeating Obamacare is not by concentrating on defeating the “fixer” bill but by defeating the Senate bill in the House when it goes to the floor for an up-or-down vote on Thursday, March 18th.

That’s what I was thinking. I hope someone takes up a Constitutional challenge to this, and that the Supreme Court members remember how they were treated at the State of the Union Address by the Dems.

They will and they will.

This ploy sounds more like the dems know it won’t pass and will “pretend they passed it” to fool their sheeple-followers and can later claim “they never voted for it” to the IND undecideds, knowing full well this will never become law.

Sorry bout the double, no clue why this happens!

To continue on the dems. We may very well be seeing a dem internal revolt/meltdown about to happen, they can't all be loony. Any attempt to pull some crap like “deemed to have passed” is about as desperate as they can get and shows they have slipped beyond the edge of sanity.

A House vote for Slaughter Rule is a vote for The Senate version of ObamaCare.
The Slaughter Rule "deems" it so;
anyone with a claim to contrary is lying.

The Senate will derail what is the sidecar legislation regardless if the Slaughter Rule bolts it onto the Senate Bill.

This country came into existence for much less than this.

Our forefathers are wondering what more is needed.
