Obama must figure he cannot get by with the softie stuff on illegals like George W Bush did
Obama figures he has the hispanic La Raza / MEchA vote locked up and needs to make democrats feel safer in areas with lots of illegals still taking jobs of the many more now laid-off honest American workers
Obama’s problems will be increasingly mucho worso in CA and FL where blacks are getting more in conflict with hispanics - esp. illegal aliens that contribute greatly to the 50% plus unemployment rates of urban - and now even rural blacks
Obama had and still has a solid 97% of the black vote in his back pocket -
Can he afford to now lose some pecentage of American hispanic voters - with the young and the independent voters who voted for him in 2008 now turning 66% against him? I do not see that situation improving as more HS and college grads find no jobs available - and middle class workers wise up as their unemployment bennies and savings run out and they start going to Food Banks - to stand in long lines behind blacks and hispanics?

Yes, I've written you often, telling you that illegals had been caught here. There have been some wild chases and they often stop their cars, trucks, and run off into the brush. Some get away if it is a large group.
Don't think Obama has anything to do with it here as it has been an ongoing thing for years. Local Police and Sheriffs do the job.
