Justice's wife launches 'tea party' group
Los Angeles Times / latimes.com ^ | March 14, 2010 | By Kathleen Hennessey

Reporting from Washington As Virginia Thomas tells it in her soft-spoken, Midwestern cadence, the story of her involvement in the "tea party" movement is the tale of an average citizen in action.

"I am an ordinary citizen from Omaha, Neb., who just may have the chance to preserve liberty along with you and other people like you," she said at a recent panel discussion with tea party leaders in Washington. Thomas went on to count herself among those energized into action by President Obama's "hard-left agenda."

But Thomas is no ordinary activist.

She is the wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, and she has launched a tea-party-linked group that could test the traditional notions of political impartiality for the court.

The Laws of this Republic exist to Secure the Inalienable Rights of the Governed - NOT so religious miscreants can wall themselves off and molest children.

Wow. That's exactly the kind of thinking that gets people killed without the law ever serving a warrant. I guess it's more convenient when they're dead and never reach a court?

“Didn’t Abigail do a little grass roots work?”

And Eleanor Roosevelt...she never shut up.

And, let us not forget Hillary's eight years of advocacy for liberal causes during the time she was First Lady, including "HillaryCare".

Timmuh McVeigh and his fellow KKK/Elohim City miscreants  serve a warrant on the Murrah Building did they?

Like I said, go to hell/Somalia/Afghanistan and take your local branch of the KKK/7th-day/Mormon/{fill in name of religious looney-tune militia} Warlord Wanabees with you.

America's a Secular Republic - Not a Theocracy; and that WAS the underlying  reason for the original Tea-Party in the first place;  so Boohoo for you.

Excuse me ..??

And .. your point was ..?? sorely lacking!

If you can’t argue your point .. then just keep silent! Hurling those kinds of comments on people is just not necessary.

You don’t have to agree with her - nobody has to do that.

The Justice Reinhardt/Ramona Ripston conflict was more evident than ever last week. Newdow v Carey was decided after a ten year battle by Newdow. Reinhardt’s wife’s ACLU was on the side of Newdow from the start. The decision, announced last Thursday, said “Under God” can stay in the pledge. Reinhardt was so upset he wrote a 132 page dissent.

>>Excuse me ..??

You’re excused.

The Tea Party receives no benefit from association with, or endorsement from, the Wacko Apologists of Davie Koresh and Co.

The American Tea Party was about removing this Republic from the grasp of religious tyrants who benefited from pretending they were in control; NOT about sanctioning religious tyrants who build militias and walls - behind which to molest children.

BTW, You made a very wrong turn when you ended up on FR. Do a little research on the origins of FreeRepublic and Mr. Robinson’s opinions about Waco. You’re out of your element.

I'm quite aware of JimRob's opinions about Waco - and I generally agree with him.

Unlike you, however, he's evidently not a cheerleader and apologist for the CULT of Child-molester David Koresh.

Well, since I have never said or done a thing that any logical human could possibly construe as “cheerleading” for a child molester (which, BTW I happen to have been the victim of one, once) I’m going to stick with my guess that you’re not of rational mind. Good-bye.

This is Clarence Thomas's answer to being dissed in the Obama's State of COnfusion Address to the Nation in which Obama dissed the Suoreme COurt for its decision on McCain Feingold political free speech.

I think it would be more correct to say that it is Virginia Thomas' answer to her husband being dissed by the Long Legged Mack Daddy. She's a pretty fiery lady as I understand it.
