“Well then go ahead and repudiate the votes of 47% of the American public.”

A large percentage voted for Obama too.

“As I said, much of the blame for this lies with McCain, who seems to keep his powder dry for “friendly fire”, and is halfhearted at best when taking on the left.”

What do you mean “half-hearted?” He IS on the left!

“Admittedly most of us here on FR HATED that fact, but 47% of the votes went to the man.”

The went to McCain not for McCain, but they felt he was the only alternative.

“So what do you think of Sen. Brown? A pro-choice RINO? Shouldn’t have run? Shouldn’t have gotten any support from Republicans or conservatives? Why?”

Nationally, no. In MA? I suppose.

Well at least you show a bit of pragmatism. Of course Brown should have run and won in MA. The “Out with the RINO’s” is short sighted. You win the victories you can with the army you can assemble using the best terrain available. Brown's victory in MA was a huge victory for the Republicans and a huge defeat for 0bama. And yet Brown is a poster-child RINO.

Now how does Arizona look? How is JD running against John? If JD wins the nomination, how strong does he look against a Dem candidate?

Driving out McCain will be a bittersweet victory at best if we end up with a Dem in that seat.
