Axelrod threat to GOP: 'Make my day' (Height of arrogance on display in Zer0's WH)

Top White House adviser David Axelrod says that if Congress passes the Democrats' national health care bill, it will be politically impossible for Republicans to undo the changes brought by the massive legislation. "I say, Let's have that fight. Make my day," Axelrod said on "Meet the Press." "I'm ready to have that, and every member of Congress ought to be willing to have that debate was well."

Axelrod made the point as he put forward the now-common argument that House Democrats who have already voted for the health care bill once should do so again because they will be attacked by Republican opponents this fall whatever they do.

"I've said many times that they've got a vote that Republicans and the insurance industry and others can run against them already," Axelrod said. "What they don't have is the accomplishment. If this bill passes, this year, children with pre-existing conditions will now be covered. There will be an end to lifetime caps and annual caps on what the insurance companies will cover, so if you get sick you won't go broke, if you get sick they won't throw you off your insurance. The doughnut hole will be filled in, so senior citizens will save hundreds of dollars on their prescription drugs. The life of Medicare will be extended, and on and on and on."

Axelrod is wrong about one big point — every member of Congress is not eager to have this debate. Many Democrats wish this whole issue would go away.

The USS Obamacare may become a sinking ship, and if it does, the Democrats will abandon ship big time.

Where is the money to cover all of these expanded programs going to come from, Axelhead? We’re already broke, the country is deeply in debt and we’ve seen no practical initiatives from the White House to stimulate REAL economic growth.

The only answer is to fight you guys tooth and nail and make sure Obama’s nose gets so bloodied in November that he will be little more than a ineffective, neutered figurehead.

It is....and Axelrod...who acts like a GIRL, whose behavioral mannerisms are totally girlish, who whines and blames others and who is obviously overly excited about his role in this disgrace of an administration...uses the term "make my day"?

Next thing ya know, he will slip his jacket aside and demonstrate that he packs. Hee hee!

Oh, ROFLMAO!!!!!

Not even stealing lines from Ronald Reagan (who may have stolen it from Clint Eastwood, which is really OK, since he’s another actor)is going to help these clowns. Their arrogance, and ignorance, is legendary.

Hey Axelrod... just so you know... even the U.S. Constitution is not written in granite. If this bedrock of America can be amended (or in the Dems' thinking, ignored)... this healthcare bill P.O.S. can be modified/scrapped once the Dems lose control of Congress (and hopefully when your boss is kicked to the curb in Jan. 2013).

Peace out and word up dude.

...it will be politically impossible for Republicans to undo the changes brought by the massive legislation.

But, Mr. Axelrod, You and Obama have shown us Republicans the way! Screw public opinion! Screw the will of the voters! Use any dirty trick to ram it through! I can't wait until we repeal Obamacare using the methods you have so kindly taught us and while we're at it we will probably ram through every conservative proposal that you have held up for the last 20 yea.

I wonder if anybody remembers that Axelrod at one time was John Edward’s campaign Manager.

EXACTLY! Except I don't WANT to have to do it dirty, if ya catch my drift.

After reading the thread today that showed our nations NEA (National Teachers' Union) has the 'RULES FOR RADICALS' by Saul Alinsky as APPROVED and SUGGESTED READING material...(I am sick of these IDIOTS! No wonder our nation is so dumbed down...ya almost have to think the liberals WANT everyone dumbed down.) I am willing to believe ANYTHING now that I hear or read about liberals.

I didn’t know that.

Is there anyone in Washington who isn’t sleazy or associated with sleazeballs?

And what will he say if his idiot boss, Pelosi, Reid can’t get it passed despite all the dirty tricks? I will enjoy seeing yet another massive fail for these clowns and a win for us lowly peasants.

His arrogance is irritating, but he is essentially correct.

Once this thing passes, the dominoes are going to start tumbling rapidly, and it is going to be extremely difficult if not impossible to repeal all of it. Particularly things like 26 year old “children” being covered on Dad’s policy, people at 150% of the new floating “poverty level” getting Medicaid, etc.

Till now the GOP has not shown the nads for cutting even completely useless Government like the Dept. of Education, so no chance they will yank Obamacare away from “the children” with tear-jerker SEIU attack ads running everywher.

Of course they do. An intelligent, informed country of citizens would be the end of liberalism.

It would be highly entertaining to see Nancy Pelosi screaming at the top of her lungs about mean, evil Republicans using the very same below the belt tactics she used to repeal this monstrosity.

My thoughts exactly, if they can get away with shredding the constitution with this farce, what makes them think we can’t shred this legislation later if it passes. He seems to have forgotten that there was legislation enacted many decades back called prohibition that was later overturned.
