“Let us leave a legacy for our children and grandchildren to be proud of!”

I don’t see any way possible for that to happen now. Our grandchildren are going to curse the very ground we walked on for allowing this to happen.

The sad thing is that it is likely that our grandchildren will never, ever know what we allowed to happen to them. The history of America will be completely erased and rewritten. Future generations will never know what it was like to live in the America we were given through the blood and sacrifices of past generations.

This vaguely reminds me of an old book or movie where the premise is that in the distant future someone finds an old copy of the Constitution. Does anyone remember that?
