Brady Quinn is a good guy. I hope he does well. But, sometimes you have to start over. Holmgren seems to have a plan, and a direction. Holmgren is getting the benefit of the doubt here in Cleveland.

Heck, it’s the first time the organization has seemed organized since it came back in 1999.

I don’t mean to sound overly harsh on Quinn; a lot of his trouble was the fault of Cleveland’s Offense and coaching.

Holmgren is building himself a dynasty in Cleveland. That’s what Art Modell did with the browns way back when. Let’s not forget that Art brought us Monday Night Football.

But in the Modells never got the talent right, especially in the latter years in Cleveland when the younger Modell was making the calls on players. Cleveland suffered from many of it’s Quarterback problems over the years because they had so many holes in their offensive line. Brady was a great college QB, but in Cleveland he kept hearing feet coming along with the injuries.

Let’s see who gets drafted. With Jake Delahomme onboard, he is in a position to mentor a new hotshot, but it depends on who else they pick up and who ends up coaching...

Not his year, but next...
