Will Democrats in Congress Stop at Nothing?
The Baltimore Sun ^ | March 19, 2010 | Matt Patterson

Posted on 03/20/2010 4:05:21 AM PDT by lt.america

Democrats in Washington are determined to ram their agenda through Congress and - possibly as soon as this weekend - transform national health care from liberal dream into legislative reality. To do so, they are willing to ignore:

But never mind the noisy din of the rabble; the Democrats have convinced themselves that the public is too stupid to know what is good for them, and that once the bill passes, Congress will be showered with thanks from a grateful nation that suddenly will have discovered what wonders the Democrats have bestowed on them. Has there ever been a more reckless, delusional disregard for public opinion in the history of our democracy?

Wait until they ram through immigration... they need all these aliens to make up for lost votes. These communists will stop at nothing.... this is just the beginning.

No doubt. Elections have consequences and that sick feeling I had in the pit of my stomach in November a year and a half ago was no coincidence.

Not just democrats. All elected officials lose touch with their base and KNOW that the electorate is as dumb as a stump. Something about moving away to D.C. separates the successful candidate from their roots and allows them to be engulfed by a machine that is destroying us all.

I will never forget listening to Michael Savage rail against the Republicans in 2006. He foamed at the mouth and yelled that all republicans needed to be taught a lesson and we need to vote them out just to purge the filth and corruption and that George Bush was an idiot and one of the worst presidents ever.

If ever there was someone who could play the public like a fiddle it's Michael Weiner Savage. He alone is responsible for the mess that congress has become. He alone put Pelosi in power. Michael Savage should be tarred and feathered.

Third part Perot politics are what brought us the Clintons. Arab money men are who put Hussein into our presidency. One more strike and we will be out of the game for good.

card check, universal voter registration, universal gun ban, packing the Court, confiscation of all private property... deemed passed as amendments to other bills.

Yep, I'm afraid this will need to be settled through some means other than the ballot box before it's over.

Hussein was the third strike.

The 'Rats are gonna hold this vote while there are 4 House seats vacant.

That's over 2 miilion people who will go without representation in the House.

That should anyone everything they need to know about the 'Rats.

I feel the same way. Talk show hosts are entertainers and like congressman, look out for their best interests. The Republicans did need to come back to the reservation, but at the same time, the electorate needs to be mindful of the alternative (read: change the party at the local level, and it will impact the national scene; don’t cut off your nose to spite your face). And to another point, I am very concerned about the prospect of a 3rd party candidate keeping Obama in office in 2012. I feel that it is already being orchestrated.

Great point. And I know off hand that Murtha’s and that other dingbat in New York's constituency are a solid “no”.

That's happening this year in the Nevada Senate race where a Obama supporter is running under the Tea Party banner to split the vote and let Harry Reid win.

I am so sorry that I was ever a democrat, that I ever voted for democratic candidates, that I campaigned for them... I never, ever thought in my life time that it would ever come to this shameful display. I am very sorry.

My district, NY-29, is still Critter-less.

And our 'Rat gov is still refusing to call a special election.

No need for apology. I come from a long line of Evan Bayh supporters (I was never a fan) and since he has exited stage left, many in my family are feeling the same remorse.

Get ready for universal voter registration:

Universal voter registration: Now being secretly prepared by at least two prominent members of Congress, this is essentially a scheme to legalize voter fraud by shifting responsibility for registering to vote from the citizen to the government, meaning people are automatically registered to vote, based on DMV records, income-tax returns, welfare rolls, unemployment lists and other government databases.

The next election is already lost. No one has taken on Robin Carnahan and successfully repaired the bogus voter rolls in Missouri.

Politics Chicago style. Makes me sick that there are idiots out there that give this administration credit for “political savvy”

Thanks, I just feel so guilty. I didn’t vote for Obama, but I probably would have voted for Hillary. And now, I see things about them that I never knew. It’s terrible. I wish William Ayers had blown himself up during his bomb-making days - maybe some of this could have been prevented. It is an ugly thing to say, I know. I just believe that he is an evil person and he has been plotting with others to make this happen for many years. Just think how different our country would be if the government had loaded up most of the war protestors onto planes and dropped them off in VietNam. These leftover hippies from the sixties have been trying to destroy this country for my entire life. I’ve never had a chance to know what it was like to live here freely without their influence. Horrible, terrible, G-dless people. The sixties ruined this country. They are all guilty of treason.

To say Michael Savage is responsible for this is silly.

The American voter is responsible for all of this. The enemy is US! We did this!

America has exactly the government it deserves.

transform national health care from liberal dream into legislative reality.

My first thought - transform national health care from liberal dream into legislative nightmare.
