Does anyone have a reasonable count anywhere,,do we think Nancy is short? If it all depends on Stupak, I am pessimistic. He, if he is negotiating with Pelosi, has a price. ANd the leftists want this so bad, they will pay it.

I don’t think Abortion payment is going to make or break this bill.

Levin will challenge the Slaughter amendment hoping the SCOTUS takes it but there is no guarantee. If there is no Slaughter amendment than he will challenge the Gov't from forcing an individual to purchase health care and dictate the type of health care they must purchase. All hinges on what the SCOTUS may or may not consider their domain.

I hope all understand that their yes vote tomorrow means the Senate bill, in it's entirety without change, becomes Law. Those promised fixes may never come about.

Cavuto reporting Stupak presser at 11:00 a.m. has been put off.

I look for FR to be hit as it is during debates and elections. Gotta love the kids in the basement with nothing better to do.

Praying all day against this travesty!

If Pelosi does not have the votes, they will use Slaughter.

Cantor: Cao a ‘firm no’ on healthcare bill
By Michael O'Brien - 03/19/10 03:59 PM ET
Rep. Joseph Cao (R-La.) is a “firm ‘no’” on Democrats’ healthcare bill, House Minority Whip Eric Cantor (R-Va.) stressed Friday.

Cantor, the GOP’s chief vote-counter in the House, said that the first-term Louisiana Republican would oppose healthcare legislation after having voted with Democrats last fall, the only Republican lawmaker to do so.

“Yes, I have spoken to Joseph Cao as recently as an hour and a half ago,” Cantor said in response to a question on whether Cao would oppose the bill.

“He is a firm ‘no’ against this bill,” Cantor added.

Today, women in the United States are fighting for their lives. You must fight too! A woman’s right to have safe and legal abortion is about to be traded away.

That whole "love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you" thing gets tougher every day.

Come quickly, Lord Jesus.

This is cute: Obamacare:  I've fallen and I can't get up.

Cavuto just reporting that the Stupak presser has been postponed...and traffic and construction are holding up the protestors from getting into DC?

A friend of mine in DC estimates that there are about 1,000 on the west lawn so far.
