There never was a reconciliation. It was a trick on the STUPID. This was the deal from the very beginning.
On to illegal aliens. Let’s get them out of here.

The story was about this bill in the senate. Are they voting too? I haven't seen any cameras showing pictures from the senate floor today.

The Senate may not care, but certain House members are only voting on this under the assurance certain fixes will take place. Without that assurance their vote could change.

Mark has already stated a challenge from the Landmark Legal Foundation has been drafted. And I for one am praying for the success of the challenge. On the merits, this is an unconstitutional boondoggle which needs to be stopped and FAST!

It sounds to me like they’re looking at ways of stopping it in the senate.

The fix bill may not pass, but Obama is going to sign this one into affect as soon as the ink is dry on Pelosi’s signature.

I know that!!! READ THIS:
the entire reconciliation bill is subject to a point of order and rejection in the Senate should it pass the House.

Alcee Hastings in full blown preacher mode, calling himself a radical socialist—and PROUD OF IT. Please tell me he’s up for re-election this year?!
Now he’s invoking Reagan??? Oh, the blasphemy. >:-(

Many people in the house are voting on this with the expectation that it will go to reconciliation.I don't think that's true. This is the now or never, you can be part of history crowd and they don't really care what's in it. They never did, all their maneuvering was purely for public consumption.

Some day there will be a Rep Pres, and a Rep majority in both houses, and now we have precedent.

Well won’t the House have voted for the Senate bill?
To: randita
No Yes vote in the House is going to back out now.None Nada.
This will be law tomorrow morning and the reconciliation will be forgotten. This has always been the plan. Everything else has been a smokescreen The Bluedogs can try to blame McConnel for the failure of reconciliation, while the union lapdogs will do the same over the Cadillac tax.The Republican Senate will be blamed for all the damages done by the deals, bribes and payoffs, because they prevented the reconciliation that the House wanted. The Media will play this song until it sends you screaming into the street, like too many verses of It’s a Small World at Disney.

It won’t matter when the Senate Bill is the law of the land. That was their infernal plan all along.
