If the house passes the Senate Bill then the Resident in Thief can sign it and it becomes law. Many people in the house are voting on this with the expectation that it will go to reconciliation. With no reconciliation possible many of the kickbacks will remain law.

DON STEWART, McCONNELL SPOKESMAN: “Republicans have been trying to set up a meeting with Senate Democrats since yesterday to discuss this fatal point of order but have been met with nothing but silence. We suspect Democrats are slow walking us so as to have the House vote first. Since Senate Democrats refuse to meet with us and the Parliamentarian, we’ve informed our colleagues in the House that we believe the bill they’re now considering violates the clear language of Section 310g of the Congressional Budget Act, and the entire reconciliation bill is subject to a point of order and rejection in the Senate should it pass the House.”

When I called my dem Rep, I took a slightly different path, I asked what he was doing to guarantee that the changes being promised the house would occur in the senate and since there was nothing he could do, why would he vote for this bill?

The staffer hemmed and hawed and admitted that deem and pass was much more popular than the Senate bill. Lord knows what will happen, but I think they are more attached to their agenda.....

I don't think that's true. This is the now or never, you can be part of history crowd and they don't really care what's in it. They never did, all their maneuvering was purely for public consumption.

Really?
REALLY?!!!
Do they REALLY TRUST that it will go to reconciliation?
They don’t effing CARE!
As a friend of mine said, “They have been threatened with photos or videos of their indescretions with farm animals, therefore they will do as told!”
