In the Iraq War, after Geraldo was kicked out of the country for giving away troop positions on live TV, he came back incountry and would visit the troops.
Then started the “Geraldo Handshake” where troops would rub their hands on bad places/things just prior to shaking his hand.
I’m surprised he did not get very sick being there.
