The man is an economic ignoramus.
He’s not ignorant. He’s not smart enough to come up with this all by himself, but he knows exactly what he is doing and what the results will be.

I was talking with my two 12-year old girls at dinner. The one was upset because at school they have a “community”. Everyone has their own jobs, but they all get paid the same in play money no matter if they have a hard job or not. I told them that they are being groomed to be good little commies. Of course my daughters don’t think it is fair. I told them to remember that.
We were also talking about the healthcare bill, and I was telling them about how the doctors will have to work for less money.
“What would you do if you made less money but still have to pay for your college, high malpractice insurance, etc.?”
My one daughter said “I would work harder and longer!” (Good “work ehtic” answer!).
I explained it a little different. “You are already a doctor and busting your butt to make $100 an hour. But, now you will only be getting paid $20 an hour. What are you going to do?”
“Ask for a raise!”
“I’m sorry, but we all took a vote, and you get paid $20/hour.”
“Well, then I quit.”
“Exactly. That is what this Bill is about”
