Gregoire is an embarrassment!
Gregoire herself was an Attorney General, and a most political one, who was given to grandstanding on whatever issue she could jump on. Specifically she was a big supporter of the unconstitutional tobacco suit & settlement, and bragged about bringing the big bucks to the state coffers. As Governor she has made several shady deals with the Indian tribes to exempt them from state taxes on casinos (they were big campaign contributors).
