Rand Paul leads rally criticizing Yarmuth

He’s running for U.S. Senate, but Republican Rand Paul helped organize a small rally Monday meant to boost opponents of U.S. Rep John Yarmuth, the Democrat who represents Kentucky’s Third Congressional District.

“John needs to come home,’’ Paul, a Bowling Green ophthalmologist said to the about 50 people gathered outside Yarmuth’s Louisville office. “There’s a tea party tidal wave sweeping across this country and we hope it’s going to sweep John Yarmuth out of office.”

Tea party supporters — who oppose health care reform — were among those at the event outside the Romano Mazzoli Federal Building in Louisville.

They included Sharon Stuecker and Elaine Flynn of Louisville, who said they had just returned from Washington where they joined people protesting against Sunday’s U.S. House vote to approve a sweeping overhaul of the nation’s health care system.

“So let’s ask brother Rand...Who is responsible for the 9/11 attack? Can we ask him that?”

Sure, but we all already know the answer. Glenn Beck did it.

Yarmuth took Louisvilles vote in congress to support his union bosses effort to condemn her to a slow ignoble death. Yarmuth is scum.

Thanks for your post!

Any preferences and/or information to share in the 3rd District/Louisville GOP Primary? Jeff Reetz looks like a good candidate, but I wasn't able to find websites for the other Republicans.

Early on when Sarah endorsed Rand, since he has come out with fringe comments, Sarah has not said anything further nor has anything on her agenda for any events for him.

"There's a lot of Republicans who don't like Ron Paul because of his Anti-War stands."

Daddy Paul is Anti-War because he understands (rightly) wars are economic disasters. What he can't get through his thick head is that most of us don't favor killing Islamic lunatics for economic gain (or fun), but because killing them is the only alternative they will permit other than them killing us.

Bold-faced Lies.
Even the quotation above from Sarah Palin, was from AFTER her endorsement, defending Rand Paul against the attacks from chickenhawk uber-dork William Kristol.

nor has anything on her agenda for any events for him.

Well, she's in Arizona, at the moment. It's a bit of a commute.
As I understand it, she's scheduled for Kentucky in April.

I do understand what you're saying.
And as mentioned -- FWIW, Rand Paul is a little more hawkish than his dad on these issues. Maybe not enough of a war-hawk to please some; but hardly enough of a peacenik to make the anti-war crowd happy, either.

Most importantly, though, he's rock-solid on Conservative domestic policy. As long as Obama is Commander-in-Chief of the troops, that may be about the best we can hope for.

In Arizona at the moment, think not.
Tonight while on Hannity, she was in Alaska.
I have seen her schedule through June

Rand came out in support for the Marxist Code Pinko anti war Kokesh for congress and thankgoodness he lost in the primary.

Well, I know that she has been in Arizona of late. Like I said, Kentucky is scheduled for April.

Rand came out in support for the Marxist Code Pinko anti war Kokesh for congress and thankgoodness he lost in the primary.

I agree with this. I disagreed with the Kokesh endorsement; after all, Kokesh's GOP opponent, Tom Mullins, has plenty of Non-Interventionist, Anti-War opinions of his own:

Since Republicans already have a solid Non-Interventionist candidate in Tom Mullins, there's no reason why any Republican (even an Anti-War Republican) should vote for kooky Kokesh.

You are kidding. You need to read Dr. Paul’s book “Revolution” ( have you ever read a book?) . In it he lays out in great detail what is happening now and the disaster in out economy that we face. He ,of course. addresses the horrible error of invading Iraq on a mistaken pretext and then posits solutions such as the movement we now call”Tea Party”.His son is a “chip off the old block” . You do know (well you probably don’t) that Dr. Ron Paul is the leader of the CPAC presidential poll (like Ronald Reagan before him) ??

Thanks!

And if you live in or around Kentucky's 3rd District, please be sure to check out the GOP House candidates whom Paul is supporting!

Send John Yarmuth packing in November...

Then I would say that he is a little more acceptable than daddy. ( ^:}

I’m in the 4th District on the other side of the state. I’m lucky to have Geoff Davis as my representative. I really like him!

Yeah, I'm not sure that pro-war Republicans have a whole lot to like in this race. On the one hand, you've got Ron Paul's son, Rand Paul; on the other hand, you've got Bill Clinton's political love-child, Trey Grayson.

However, Fiscal conservatives do have more to love (e.g., check out the Steve Forbes and Dick Armey endorsements for Rand Paul). Rand Paul comes with 100% of his dad's capitalistic domestic policies -- but now available with 30% less anti-war sentiment! (Okay, I just made that percentage up off the top of my head). So, I'm willing to support him on his domestic policies in and of themselves.

No, you're blessed to have the American Conservative Union 96%-rated Geoff Davis as your Representative.
(Christians don't believe in luck. Nyah, nyah.)
