Organizations are collections of individuals working together for common causes.
Disband an organization, and the individuals continue to exist and share mutual interests in common causes, and will naturally gravitate toward regrouping.

Question for anyone who might know the answer.....
What happens to ACORN’s records if they disband? Are they free to destroy them? Is there a waiting period? If they reorganize under a new name are the old records part of the new organization?
The thought crossed my mind that this could be a way of keeping secrets and protecting former organizers forever.
