I don't think there's any "may" about a reformation of ACORN under new names - they will do so, you can bet your bottom dollar on it (in fact, you have, thanks to the liberal fascists in Congress).

An organization takes in that kind of money on an annual basis, and folds because of a string of bad months? Wow. I wonder who is in charge of liquidating those holdings, and where it all ends up. Sounds like they were living day to day if there is no cash to hold the place together.

the organization will reinvent itself under a new name.

Yes, CPUSA.

Oh, wait. That's the new name for the Democratic Party.

Do not believe for an instant that they are gone. Reorganized under new names ... for sure.

They must be there for the election process ... so they can get fraudulent votes and lots of them for Obama.

We can believe nothing they say. It is not truth. It is misdirection.

Initially, the only thing I see wrong with your article is the headline. There is no MAY REORGANIZE about it! They have already reopened in 3 states under new names. Henceforth there will not be one name nationwide. The new, camoflaged ACORN, will operate under a different name in each state in which they reopen.

Here is an excerpt from LA Times, alluding to ACORN’s reemergence in New York and California. While not mentioned by LAT, they have already reopened in one of the midwestern states, as well.

A comment from an unnamed source inside ACORN said that although the board has decided to disband, they are reorganizing under new names. This was confirmed by Iowa Rep. Steve King (R-Iowa), a long-time critic of ACORN: “I don’t think we’re done with this. This is a big step in the right direction because I believe they are a corrupt, criminal enterprise.”

For instance, in New York City the ACORN office now has a new sign: “New York Communities for Change.” In Massachusetts, the “new” ACORN group, called “New England United for Justice” lists Maude Hurd as its president, the same Maude Hurd who serves as president for ACORN itself. Matthew Vadum, an investigator for the Capital Research Center, points out that ACORN Housing has changed its name to Affordable Housing Centers of America, Inc., and other ACORN-connected groups include Arkansas Community Organizations, Alliance of Californians for Community Empowerment, and Missourians for Reform Empowerment. “This is a trick, a public relations trick to dupe Congress and the American people to think they have gone away and that have not,” says Vadum. “The same people are running the new chapters that have sprung up and in some cases, out of the same offices.”

Consequently, the death of ACORN has, unfortunately, been greatly exaggerated

ACORN Formally Disbands; May Reform Under New Name

They've already renamed themselves in Little Rock. Instead of ACORN, they are now ACO. Original, huh? Now it will be extra hard to keep track of them with the name change and all......../s.

Former first chapter of ACORN mourns passing of national group

Several state chapters broke ties with the national organization this year, including Arkansas ACORN, now known as Arkansas Community Organizations, or ACO.

“I think it’s sad,” said Neal Sealy, executive director of ACO. “We hate to see this happen. I certainly had hoped that a remnant of ACORN would survive to keep fighting in the courts, because ACORN is being vindicated.”

Sealy said ACO hopes to carry on the community-organizing work formerly done by the ACORN chapter, but in new and innovative ways.
