You raise some good questions. If the United States was being threatened with nuclear annihilation from Mexico, would you have any problems with a preemptive strike, including carpet bombing? You ask my reason for asking the question, which I thought that I made clear; however, I must not have been clear enough. My reason concerns the survival of Israel. Can Israel survive without the financial and military support of the United States? If I were an Israeli, I would not count on the Obama administration for support.
