Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu was warmly greeted when he returned home from Washington on Thursday after standing up to unprecedented pressure and humiliating treatment from the Obama administration.
A Smith Research poll at the beginning of the week showed 9 percent of Jewish Israelis believe the Obama administration is pro-Israel, compared with an 88 percent approval rating under former President George W. Bush.
A headline in the London-based The Times on Thursday read "Binyamin Netanyahu humiliated after Barack Obama 'dumped him for dinner.'"
"For a head of government to visit the White House and not pose for photographers is rare. For a key ally to be left to his own devices while the president withdraws to have dinner in private was, until this week, unheard of," The Times stated.
"Yet that is how Binyamin Netanyahu was treated by President Obama on Tuesday night, according to Israeli reports on a trip viewed in Jerusalem as a humiliation," it read.

Hey I’m Jewish and my friends and family voted for McCain. we have always be republicans and your borderline ANTI-SEMETIC.
“I hope American Jewish supporters of Israel are watching this turn of events!”
Even liberal Jewish voters would see Obama’s temper trantrum as what it was.
But the MSM Jewish voters in the NorthEast watch will never, ever, cover this.
They will never know.
Boy, you do want to say it to them sometimes.
You said:
“Far more Catholics voted for Hussein than Jews, so why didn’t you mention them? Or Lutherans? Why only liberal American Jews?”
Are you serious? I mean really, who votes for suicide? American Jews consistently vote Democrat and those D’s consistently do what they can to screw Israel.
Now they have an alleged Muslim in the White House and if he isn’t, he is most certainly their sympathizer.
A Jewish Vote for Barry can only mean they don’t care about their Homeland and that is cultural and semitic suicide.
Well, good luck with that broadstroke description and you are missing the point.
First, we want Israel to survive and thrive. You have conflated the statement “Jews-voted-for-Obama-so-serves-them-right-in-Israel” to being Anti-Semitic. I agree the statement is a little much but the intent of the poster was to make the point that Jews, in America, overwhelmingly voted for Obama.
Barry said he would stand with Moslems, on more than one occasion before taking the White House and still they voted for him.
Again, as a percentage of group and in shear numbers they voted overwhelmingly for a deceiver, who made his position known.
We support Israel, for our own Christian reasons and would expect Jews in America, who may not be Israeli’s to do the same. Yet, we hear nary a peep of indignation when Israel is thrown under the bus.
I have many Jewish friends who support the “rights” of a “Palestinian” homeland in historical Israel. Why?
They think they are being compassionate. This despite the fact there is no such thing as Palestinian race or even a Palestinian People’s History. They are Homeless and Homeland misfits who should be repatriated to their respective countries of origin.
Instead they are used as foils and bait for the other Arab nations, so they have a collective enemy.
Besides the term Palestine was a term invented by the Romans who wanted to wipe the memory of Israel, Jews, Judaism off the map and remove them from history.
Are we asking to much for Jews in America to support Israel?
And are we as supporters of Jews and Israel still, under your definition, Anti-Semites?
I would REFUSE to shake obambi's hand, and consider it a great privilege to shake the hand of Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu.
“The Obama administration has demanded an Israeli response by Saturday so they can present it at an Arab League meeting in Libya”
Ozero can pound sand. Saturday is the Jewish Sabbath. He can wait for his answer.
