Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli, fresh off the controversy that he generated with his letter to Virginia public colleges and universities earlier this month advising them against going too far in policies protecting gays and lesbians from discrimination on campus, is back in the hot seat again, this time over comments from late last year questioning President Obama’s citizenship.
The comments came to light in a posting on the left-wing political blog Not Larry Sabato on Monday that included audio from an interview conducted by an unnamed man of Cuccinelli in the post-election transition period.

He later back tracked when the Wash Post confronted him. Dr. Edwin Viera said the same thing that if someone gets charged (not convicted) or a company gets fined.
This is an older story but Cuccinelli appears to think this is legally correct. Nothing is kicking in because Obama does not want the challenge.

My wife and I have ours in a fire proof lock box. So yes, I think that most “responsible” Americans have ready access to our Long Form Birth Certificate. We also have copies of our childrens’ too.

Challenging health care on the basis of Obama's fundamental legitimacy could be an interesting tactic, if (R)'s control Congress in 2011. It's a two-fer -- the sword that runs Obama through, and kills healthcare as well. The challenge coming from a State first may be the best way to do this, and building the head of steam at that level starts now that the bill has passed and been "signed" -- or has it?

Your comment is akin to saying the McCollum “successfully” filed the papers for this lawsuit.
That’s all well and good, but will he succeed in the prosecution that follows, or will he blow the case, like he did the impeachment trial?

It can't. Of course not. Yet, right there, on his campaign web site F.T.S., it's stated that a foreign government "governed" Barry from birth and the reason it did, was that Barry inherited that foreign citizenship by way of his foreign national father (no matter where he was born). Assuming, of course, that Sr. was his legal father at birth.
How, then, could he possibly be a "Natural Born Citizen" of the U.S.?

Furthermore: Hawaii's Territorial Law, Chapter 57 - "VITAL STATISTICS, I", shown beginning pg 23 of 29, (the law in effect in 1961) allowed baby's born anywhere in the world to be eligible to apply for a Hawaiian birth certificate based on the word of 1 relative.
