Freedom'sWorthIt - I've heard the "end times" preached all my life and I'm almost 65 years old and I'm sure it has been preached for the past 2,000 years or so. It will happen in God's own due time and we cannot predict it.
It will not happen until God calls the last person He wants to call. That's not to say that we aren't to pray for those who haven't accepted Him yet and urge them to do so but He, most assuredly, has the final yea or nay.

When I was a small boy my dad was off in the war fighting for his country and my Grandmother came to take care of us four kids. She was Pentecostal and back in those days the preachers were from the school of Elmer Gantry. That is, scream and holler out the message of fire and brimstone and the hubs of hell and damnation. It actually scared me and drove me away from religion. Later though I did accept the Lord in the true sense, after becoming an adult, but still shunned organized religion and churches. Then, when I was about 30 I met a minister who was calm and very versed in the Bible and a wonderful teacher. He taught the very love and grace of the Lord and all who were around this man were blessed with Spirit and enthusiasm for the Word. Though he is gone now I am left with his wisdom and realize that it was the Spirit working through him that brought men to his side. The most important thing I learned from him was never react to “feelings”, the biggest mistake of the Christian today, but “what does the Word of Truth” have to say about it.
