RNC chairman Michael Steele will be meeting with a group of far-left illegal immigration supporters on March 31, 2010; the details on who's involved and the backstory is at the link. Most importantly of all, please take a few moments and try to contact him, his staff, or someone who can get a message to him and suggest that he handles this meeting in the right way.
Given his past statements he'll probably handle this in the wrong way; if you'd like to do something constructive please take just a few minutes to contact him and suggest he handles this correctly.
The wrong way, of course, would be for the chairman of the Republican Party to agree with far-left racial power supporters who have little or no use for our immigration laws. Another wrong way would be to simply disagree with them without showing how they're wrong. A mostly wrong way to handle it would be to simply nod along.
The right way to handle this is described at the link, which you're encouraged to send to him or someone who can get it to him. You can try info *at* gop.com, but if anyone has a better address please leave it below. If you're on Twitter, please send him a message @ChairmanMSteele, which I believe to be the correct address.

The only contact I want to have with Michael Steele is booting him out of the RNC.
Which strip club will host this meeting?
ONly thing I have to say to Steele is GET OUT!
Oh for crying out loud. The Republicans really are the stupid party aren’t they? They’ve learned nothing at the RNC apparently...
I don’t think they will be able to hold back the Tea Party from going Third Party if this sort of stupidity on the part of Republicans goes on much longer.
Michael Steele will most likely open discussions with the question “What can I do to get your vote and/or support?”
Hope I’m wrong, but I have no reason to think otherwise.
Don’t fear he’s a Republican he can do no wrong!
Do I need a /sarcasm tag?
Can we please get this turd out of the punch bowl?
The only civil thing I could manage to say to Michael Steele at the moment is “Get OUT!”
The only time the RNC cares about issues like immigration is when they’re trying to separate you from your cash. Otherwise, they couldn’t care less.
I think your heart and mind are in the right place, but the truth is that I have written to the RNC before and have never gotten any response at all unless you want to count an increase in smarmy fund-raising letters.
It makes sense to think that the representatives of the GOP should be interested in voter’s opinions, since they represent us and all, but the truth is that they are not - unless you have the kind of cash which entitles you to trips at RNC expense to bondage bars.
BTT
