The European right can sometimes have a very, very nasty side.

However, the European left will continue to push the people until somebody comes along to "make the trains run on time".

No, there was an earlier siege of Vienna by a huge army of Turks. Some of the fiercest fighting took place in tunnels built by the defenders to intercept other tunnels built by Turkish sappers. Bodies and rubble jammed these excavations. Must have been hellish down there.

I wouldn’t bet on the next two elections. We now have anchor-babies by the millions born 18 years ago who’d be voting. Plus several million H1B visa holders from third world nations who have since become citizens and bring with them an alien religion, culture, ritual, and often a socialistic political brand. In the US alone at the last election 68% of those aged 18-30 voted for Obama. This is staggering.

White, single, widowed, unmarried, or separated females, according to Gallup, voted “overwhelmingly” for Obama. Not enough.

Try adding 99% of the Plantation Vote, SEIU, ACORN, Planned Parenthood, GLBT perverts, and the Soros cash and Obama and the Pelosites have more than an even chance in staging a comeback. Red states have become blue or purple, no blue state has gone red.

I hear you.

All I have is anecdotal evidence from my own family and acquaintences.

1. Very liberal, confused BIL and SIL. BIL is union steward. Both big time democrat supporters and universal healthcare. My family is full of Pasters of very conservative churches and very Christian, very conservative other family members. We could not budge them from their left-wing views. I saw them about 6 months ago and both told me they were now Republicans and hated Zero.
2. NY'er friend of mine, usually a moderate Democrat, is now only watching FoxNews, and hates Zero as well.
3. None of my regular friends I associate with are supporting him at all.

While understand your angst, given the polls and my own anectdotal evidence, I don't think it is bad as you think.

However, if he manages to give citizenship to the millions of criminal illegal invaders in our country, I'm not sure what the outcome might be.

And then there is the whole tipping-point thing as to when the American people just say enough is enough and take matters into their own hands.

Wierd and dangerous time we are living in.
