FTA: "Climate scientists fear rapid global warming could trigger.."

Utterly predictable. I really wish the leftists would come up with a new scam, at least for the sake of variety.

There's evidence that the Canadian ice sheet, which apparently formed a giant ice damn to form a huge inland lake, failed catastrophically about 11,500 years ago, dumping an estimated one million cubic kilometers of fresh water into the ocean literally in the space of hours. This giant inundation would have also flooded the North Atlantic with fresh water. However, it didn't trigger a Younger Dryas III. The planet continued to warm and the glaciers continued to melt.

Just more nonsense from people who are paid explicitly to produce nonsense.

Climate scientists fear rapid global warming could trigger a sharp increase in the amount of meltwater from Greenland. This surge in freshwater could trigger a tipping point that overwhelms the Gulf Stream, shutting it down and likely plunging Europe into another deep freeze.

So....global warming could trigger a deep freeze. Got it.
