Despite the above, I would suspect he is still probably more qualified and experienced than the current WH occupant

I don't buy the "too young" thing - Ryan's over 35, which is plenty old enough to be a great president. As for not being an executive - well, apparently he served as the president of his own consulting firm, which is more executive experience than our current president had. In Congress, he's one member among hundreds - as president, he could lead this nation back on a course that might eventually cross over into the fabled land of Fiscal Sanity.
This guy appears to be smart, a quick thinker, very articulate, and devoted to smaller government. Unless some other shoe drops soon, I think Ryan needs to be the guy.
