I think she tried to say his “ancestral” home country. It came out like his “home country”- meaning he was born there. For some reason, the smartest woman on the planet after Hillary has a bit of trouble with the english language.

EVERY one I have ever met that called somewhere else their "home" country meant the place they were born and/or raised and the place they felt deserved their devotion.
