Remember Perry is a politician and talking is one of the things they do best. I don’t know what he’ll do but Obama’s stimilus money to the tune of over $8 billion helped him get the last budget balanced in 09. So Perry’s not adversed to getting help from Obama.

One of the problems is that our Legislature is hanging Republican only by a slim thread and we are already continuously bashed by the Dimwits because we don’t spend enough on welfare benefits. All the major cities are sanctuary areas and truth be known, illegals probably make up the vast majority of the population. Recent court decision in Farmer’s Branch certainly didn’t help either.
No benefits in any form for illegals.
Institute a ten year residency requirement retroactive to the year 2000 on all others seeking any form of assistance. That will cut out all the benefits that all those bleu state refugees and leftover Katrina queens are sucking up.
Place a $1/gal. tax on all petroleum products exported to other states. There is alot of heating oil and gasoline that is refined here and goes up the pipeline to the New England/Mid Atlantic states. Call it a “save Gaia” tax-east coast libtards are all about “saving Gaia” but do not want to give up anything for it-they don’t want to have those nasty refineries or wind/solar farms in their back yards-they should have to pay the price for their NIMBYism.

We’re closing in on the same thing here in PA. Pretty nice that they’ll want to raise the taxes on us in the private sector (what’s left of it) to make sure those who had virtually fire-proof jobs for decades can have fat, happy, retirements. Every gov’t in the U.S. is on the verge of collapse.
